Join the Cyara Team for Our Inaugural Ideathon at Xchange 2018

Welcome!

Join the inaugural Ideathon for extending and applying the Cyara Platform to new and innovative uses! This multi-session event spanning the three days of Cyara Xchange will reward creativity and technical skills as we look to apply Cyara’s APIs (and potential APIs of the future) to real-world problems your organization is having, or may soon be having. Register early for the Ideathon because space will be limited for this exclusive technical track.

Join the initial brainstorming session beginning at 3:00pm on Monday, March 26th, prior to the cocktail reception and get your creativity juices flowing. There are no bad ideas and we’ll discuss anything you bring prepared as well as ideas that emerge on the spot from comparing notes with like-minded technical users interested in getting the most from the Cyara APIs. Participants will be invited to add in their ideas and present them to get feedback on what they should be working on, or how they should go about it. This 2-hour session will culminate in the forming of a limited number of teams to develop the most promising ideas and categories that would benefit from cross-organizational sharing of great ideas.

As Cyara Xchange unfolds, teams will be given opportunities to meet one or more times for research and technical exploration, and capture details of the approach that (a) enterprises can follow to extend Cyara and (b) what Cyara can do to foster and accelerate these innovations. These sessions are not intended to become hackathons, but rather detailed technical planning sessions where knowledge about Cyara APIs can be further shared and exchanged.

On the final day of Xchange, the teams will meet again to present to each other their ideas. You’ll have 15-minutes, plus a short Q&A period, to convince the judging panel that your ideas will lead to the most valuable extension to the Cyara Platform and vie for the coveted Cyara Idea Master Award of 2018. Additional awards for best Cyara API extension ideas will also be given and awardees will get to see their API feature requests come to life later in the year.
